Basic Information Re: Polymer Clay Wall Art:

Polymer clay, once completely heat cured, is both colorfast and impermeable to water under normal circumstances.  That means it’s ok to have in your bathroom, just don’t put it in your fishtank!  Because of its water-impermeability this medium is great to use decoratively in damp environments.

All colors in my creations are only from the polyclay itself, with the exception of highlighting finishes or glazes (if used).  Thus, any color you see will not rub, smear, wash or otherwise lift off.

All of my non-framed wall art has a strong metal hanger permanently embedded in the polyclay backing, and then is heat cured.  This hanger will not fall off as it’s not glued, nor fall out as it’s heat-set within the body of the piece.

While the mirrors are heavier than most of my other work that is because of the glass mirror itself.  Otherwise, these wall pieces are fairly lightweight for their size and complexity.
